  1. Aim of course (in terms of result of studies and competense).

Aim of course - to familiarize with scientific problems, newest achievements of science and process of forming of culture of mental work; to form ability to integrate and synthesize information; to activate cognitive processes (feeling, perception, presentation, attention, memory, imagination, thought, language, reasoning); to develop creative capabilities which assume mastering of information not simply, but display of intellectual initiative and creation something new; to learn to self-perfection and self-government in the process of educational activity; to master the row of receptions of work with certificate, scientific, popular, historical and artistic literature; to lay hands on methodology of work on a lecture, seminar employments, at preparation to examinations, at writing of scientific works.

Studying this course, students must get next knowledge and form ability: essence of scientific organization of labour of student; value of self-education and self-education; ways of rationalization of the mode of day; general rules of intellection; mental operations, terms of the successful memorizing and training of attention; rules of using a catalogue and certificate literature; essence of summarizing; to make the program of self-education and self-education; to choose the optimal mode of day; to master knowledge; to apply the rational receptions of memorizing; to man-hunt recommended literature.
