  1. ^ Aim of the course (in terms of competence and results of study).

The aim of this course is to characterize the general process of socialization of personality for the future teachers. Having acquired the course, students are assumed to achieve a number of aims in the process of studying the bases of socialization of a personality, such as: full acquirement of theoretical knowledge, needed for realization of their professional activity; development of specific skills, which enable them to detect and solve the problems in the sphere of social education.

The course “Bases of socialization of personality” is aimed at the following:
  • to extend students knowledge in the sphere of general scientific notion of socialization;
  • to enlighten the history of origin and development of socialization as a branch of interdisciplinary research;
  • to help students realize the matter, context, basic categories and general characteristics of socialization process;
  • to form humanistic attitude to the subject and the process of socialization itself;
  • to provide deep understanding of the subject-object approach to the socialization of personality;
  • to organize active individual work of students to study topical problems of socialization;
  • to motivate them for moral self-perfection and increasing their ethical culture.
