- ^ The purpose of the course (the results of training and the competence in terms).
|
The purpose of the given course is studying by the students special groups of clients of social work, principles and criteria of a the choice of effective methods of intervention in work with them.
During the studying of the course the students will be given knowledge about :
- The reasons, which limit the process of exclusion from the society of some people groups;
- Modern theories concerned the problems of exclusion; psyhological and pedagogical peculiarities of these groups of clients ;
- Methods and forms of preventive treatment and correction, medical and sanitary rehabilitation work with different groups of clients.
Using this knowledge the skills must be formed :
- abilities to use acquired theoretical knowledge in practical work with different groups;
- to understand the problems of different groups of clients , which make dependent on their exclusion from the society;
- to choose active methods of exclusion in work with different categories of clients;
- to conduct special forms of individual work; to determine methods of integration concerned special groups of clients and appreciate its effectiveness.
