8. Aim of the course (in terms of studying result and competence).

Aim of the Musical Psychology course is important in the system of students' training of the future musical-pedagogical activity – understanding of psychological bases of musical art, psychological bases of development of musical abilities, creative work will help future specialists both in performance and musical-pedagogical activity. A teacher-musician has to deal with two factors – music as it is and personality of a pupil that's why planning of pedagogical-performance activity on psychological bases is an important factor of the successful future work. The course of Musical Psychology Bases is professed to students of specialty «Music Art» with the aim of theoretical and practical training of future specialists to musical-pedagogical activity in specific aspects of musical activity and its psychological essence. A musical pedagogics branch is borderline between art sphere and a human science sphere; it is traditionally considered one of those where fantasy, imagination, and creative work prevail. An important problem for modern musical pedagogics is a question of early eduction and development of musical abilities, a question of musical education.

A specialist of specialty «Musical art» should be professionally educated from the point of psychological training to the musical-pedagogical activity. Forming of a future specialist's pedagogical mastery in a large measure stipulated by the acquisition level of the knowledge system on the questions of music art psychology, music activity psychology, music perception psychology musical capacities psychology, and so on.

The course of Musical Psychology should promote future pedagogues giving a ground to to the further self-improvement, ability to use gathered knowledge in organization of performance and pedagogical activity, to manage psychological activity of pupils while interaction with music, to be able to analyze literature in the sphere of modern musical psychology, to analyze and use new pedagogical technologies development of pupil's and youths' musical capacities.
