Turkey’s Policy in the Caucasus: the Region of Lost Opportunities

The article provides a comprehensive study of Turkey’s policy in the Caucasus since the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991 until nowadays. The author distinguishes several stages in the process of the formation of Turkey’s regional strategy and later analyzes the impact of various internal and external factors on its transformation in the last twenty years.
