In conclusion Id like to say that working at my report I discovered a lot of astonishing details about the past and present of the museum. It was interesting to learn about opening the Planetarium, moving images and animatronic ride “The Spirit of London”. I could hardly imagine that there are even speaking wax figures and that visitors can freely interact with them dance, sing, play and what not! I was also impressed reading about Studio Secrets; the process of making wax sculpture is a real art! And can you imagine that each hair is inserted individually and it takes five weeks? And of course it was a surprise for me to follow wonderful changes and how the museum gradually turned into a great international complex Tussauds Group!

The macaques, a genus of some 13 to 20 species (there is disagreement among taxonomists on the actual number), are found in North Africa and throughout southern Asia from Afghanistan to Japan. The most familiar form is the rhesus monkey, which is often seen by tourists in the towns and cities of India. Fossils dating to six million years indicate that the macaques originated in northern Africa and once roamed over Europe as far north as London. These earlier macaques were not very different in appearance from the Barbary monkeys that survive today in Morocco, Algeria, and on Gibraltar. However, once the Macaques reached Asia, at least by three million years ago, they diversified into a variety of forms. Few are as distinctly different as the lion-tails, with their black coats, silver facial ruffs, and strongly arboreal habitats. Lion-tails are one of the two macaque species that are listed as in danger of extinction, but we may realistically expect the Tibetan, Formosan, and Sulawesian species to fall into that category before the year 2000.

Rank scores show the position one student or a person takes in comparison to others who have the same experience. Ranking list can be used at schools where all the school-leavers will be ranked according to their grades from the highest to the lowest. The perception of ranking list can vary according to the scale. For example if there are 50 applicants for a position and they are ranked on the scale from 0 till 5, there will be no difference between applicants sharing the same rank, but if the same applicants are ranked from 0 till 50, then much more information will be takes into consideration and the difference within 5 or 10 points can be crucial.of central tendency in descriptive statistics are used to calculate the average among all the scores. Within these measures it is possible to identify further calculations. Mean is measured by dividing the sum of all possible scores into the score group of students got. Median is what can be found in the middle of score distribution, while mode is the most common amount of scores students get. If the group of students presents on the average level without a big difference of knowledge level, then the median and the mode can be equal. But if there are mane extreme points, then these data will be different. Standard deviation is the most used calculation in statistic data. There is a special formula to calculate it, but it is based on the mean score.after the data collection process a researcher can find out that some data are missing. Missing data means that a researcher planned to get special amount of data from different sources (participants, documents or other information) but either because of carelessness or some unpredictable situations the plan did not work. If the expected participants are students, it can happen that some of them do not come to school because of sickness, there is always a human unpredictadness. In this case if many participants are missing, probably it will be better to postpone the data collection process for few days. It is always better if everything works according to the plan, but if some data are missing, then the idea of the whole research and later results can be useless. But even if some data are missing, the researcher must be honest and write it in the study, but never try to cheat by giving wrong information.analysis process can be always conducted on two levels: multilevel or one level grouping. For example a researcher collected data about students perception of teachers work with seven-graders. On the one level grouping a researcher will concentrate only on these particular students and on one or several chosen teachers. But if the data are analyzed on a multilevel then the researcher has to look at the situation in a wider way and look at teachers work on the whole school level.statistical data is also a long and quite complicated process. Usually in quantitative research studies there is a huge amount of information which needs to be analyzed. More and more often it is done with the help of the computers. The usage of these programmes is not very easy and it is better to have some experience in working with them. If a researcher is inexperienced, it can take a long time of him to get used to it; that is why some students prefer to search for help by hiring computer consultant. Data analysis process is one of the final stages and it is recommended to check the data for accuracy before submitting it. The data must be checked very carefully, from the very beginning of typing data, and then different formulas for calculation and results.the data analysis is finished a researcher should take care of the study and keep it a safe place. This may apply to certain particular classes of consumers' products like convenience, shopping, specialty, and unsought products. The useful thing to realize is that in selling a specific product or service we need to take into account specific qualities they offer, in terms of both material and psychological implications. Branding is also an important factor in marketing decisions. The idea of branding is to win wider and steadier recognition, though in real life a brand would not necessarily ensure a desired quality. Yet it works and, therefore, should be taken into account for competitive considerations. One of the important real life implications here is that to sell a branded product we would have to think well of what kind of advantages might contrast our product or service against the competitors one. The product life cycle is especially important to in terms of planning of our marketing activities. For example, when dealing with a new product on the market it is important to be aware of the main stages of products life. 939. Mathcad и MAS – что это такое

«Ахиллесова пята» пакета Mathcad в его названии, которое как бы авансом приписывает эту программу к «элитному клубу» математических пакетов. Вторая беда в том, что разработчики Mathcad, может быть, из-за желания отработать этот аванс все время «подтягивали» эту программу к математическим пакетам, встраивая в него все новые и новые математические инструменты. Многие из них оказались очень полезными и востребованными, а другие же только отягощали пакет. Так, например, в Mathcad 11 вставлены инструменты решения дифференциальных уравнений в частных производных (см. http://twt.mpei.ac.ru/mas/worksheets/pde_Temperature.mcd, например), хотя все понимают, что сколько-нибудь сложную задачу этими инструментами не решить. Можно только показать студентам, что это такое дифференциальное уравнение в частных производных и как можно подойти к его решению. Для сложных и реальных задач нужно брать другие пакеты или даже (и скорее всего) разрабатывать индивидуальные алгоритмы, что, кстати, можно прекрасно делать и в среде Mathcad. Вот и начинают сравнивать пакет Mathcad с Maple или MatLab, где эти инструменты более развиты. И сравнение это, конечно, не в пользу Mathcad. В включением в Mathcad специализированных, а не общематематических инструментов разработчики Mathcad как бы сами подставляют себя под огонь критики и толкают пакет на тупиковый путь развития на путь, который уже давно прошли «настоящие» матпакеты. Бьет это и по традиционным пользователям Mathcad, которые не так сильны в математике, да и не чувствуют особой нужды в ней для решения своих рутинных задач. Новые сложные инструменты новых версий Mathcad часто только смущают таких пользователей, лишний раз как бы упрекая их в незнании каких-то специальных разделов математики. Да и накладно все это в финансовом плане новые версии Mathcad с несущественными изменениями появляются чуть ли не каждый год.

Во-вторых, нередко никакой формулы не было и нет, т.к. на графиках даны результаты некой графической обработки опытных точек усредняющими кривыми. Кривые, показанные на рис. 1, получены после испытания фильтрующего материала на специальном стенде, где есть возможность менять скорость потока и температуру воды и замерять перепад давления. В научной же (не технической) литературе считается хорошим тоном оставлять на графике эти экспериментальные точки и показывать различного рода доверительные интервалы. В последнее время получает распространение практика ссылок из научных статей на сайт, где хранятся первичные протоколы опытов, по которым читатель может не только проверить выводы автора, но и дать свою трактовку результатов. Можно идти дальше рекомендовать программу для компьютера с расчетом по этому графику. На бумаге (в технической документации см. выше) видна качественная оценка явление, а на сайте, поддерживающим эту документацию, прописан соответствующий расчет. Для этого можно а) попытаться связаться с автором и попросить его дать формулу, если она, конечно, есть; б) вывести самому нужную формулу опираясь на «физику» задачи; в) провести интерполяцию сплайнами, например.
