ПОСТОЯННЫЙ ПРИЗЫВ


Трансформирующей проповеди необходим трансформи-рованный проповедник. Апостол Павел знал это. В действительности он утвердил этот принцип для всех христиан, независимо от их даров и служений. Он написал, что ученики Иисуса Христа должны постоянно трансформироваться обновлением своего ума (Римлянам 12:2). Когда наш разум обновлен, тогда мы знаем волю Божью.

Библейский призыв ясен. И сегодня он остается тем же для нашей проповеди. Он толкает нас к росту в направлении к становлению трансформирующими проповедниками. Это призыв всегда быть внимательными к нуждам наших слушателей. Если мы правильно слышим его, Святой Дух будет трансформирующе проповедовать в сердцах наших слушателей и после события проповеди. Подобно этому, мы также можем продолжать расти в нашем проповедническом служении на протяжении всей своей жизни. Это одна из привилегий ученичества.

Поэтому не останавливайтесь на том, что вы знаете сейчас. Продолжайте расти, развивайте свои идеи, расширяйте горизонты вашей проповеди. Читайте о других подходах и взглядах. Может быть, вы найдете идеи, противоречащие написанному в этой книге, очень ценными, так как они заставят вас вновь задуматься о своей проповеди.

Остен Кеннеди до Блуа (1928) в биографии Джона Буньяна написал слова, которые бросают вызов нашему служению проповедью:


Когда мы думаем о Вильяме Кэри, баптистском ученом, миссионере и основателе современного протестантского миссионерского движения, мы представляем его в его сапожной мастерской, мечтающем о всемирной евангелизации. В его руке ботинок, который необходимо отремонтировать, но его глаза устремлены на карту, висящую на стене. Пока он размышляет, разгорается огонь.

Также было и с Джоном Буньяном и его тяжелым трудом. Ботинки и шнурки, кажется, перемешались с нашей духовной историей. Отрезая и вставляя шнурки, Мечтатель мечтал, и никакая тюремная стена или скучное занятие не могли убить его фантазию или его видение небесной радости или благодати.cdxxiii


Так мы должны подходить к проповедническому служению. Так должно быть в наших мыслях, независимо от того, какова действительность. Мы мечтаем о том, чтобы найти способы захватить сердца слушателей библейской истиной, на которой мы основали свои жизни.

Будете ли вы так проповедовать? Мечтайте об этом и стремитесь к этому.

И пусть ваши слушатели и ваши церкви будут трансформированы силой Святого Духа через ваше служение трансформирующей проповеди!

Пусть Бог дарует вам это в вашей жизни!
