Alexander Sergeevich Pushckin, the great Russian poet, was born in Moscow on 26th of May in 1799. He came from an old noble family. In his early childhood Alexander liked reading books. His father was interested in literature and had an excellent French library where the boy could read a lot of books and learn French. And yet there were two women whose influence on the boy’s character and passion was really immense. They were the boy’s grandmother and his nurse, Arina Radionovna. They taught him the folklore. In the age of eleven Pushckin became famous. As for his creations his verses are beautiful and simple and his fairy-tails are still amusing and teaching our children to be kind and noble.
