5. Assessment Methods

The following assessment methods may be used: unseen written examination papers; in-course assessments of practical classes; in-course assessments of example classes; assessments of project work; assessments of periods of fieldwork or industrial experience; dissertation assessment.

Details of the assessment pattern for each module are specified in the Degree Programme Handbook.

6. Degree Classification

The Stage 2 module assessments together contribute at a weighting of 25 percent towards degree classification, whilst the assessment of modules from Stage 3 contributes towards degree classification at a weighting of 75 per cent.
