AGREEMENT ON COOPERATION

between

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation

and

Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania


The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Albania, hereinafter referred to as “the Parties”,

considering the mutual aspiration towards the establishment of closer contacts between the entrepreneurs of Russia and Albania;

desirous of taking the advantage of the new most efficient forms of cooperation in the joint economic activities;

guided by interests of their members – enterprises, firms, organizations, entrepreneurs as well as associations thereof,

hereby agreed that:


Article 1


The Parties shall promote the strengthening and expansion of trade, economic, scientific, technological, and other business relations between enterprises, entrepreneurs and organizations of the Russian Federation and Albania, including small- and medium-sized companies and enterprises.


Article 2


The Parties shall exchange information of mutual interest on Economy, Foreign trade, Amendments to trade Legislation, trade practices and rules, and also render assistance in organizing symposia and lectures of experts.


Article 3


The Parties shall provide conditions necessary for active participation of organizations and firms of both countries in international, national and specialized exhibitions, displays, fairs and other advertising and information events held both in the Russian Federation and Albania.


Article 4


The Parties shall cooperate in the fields of international commercial and maritime arbitrage, patenting, protection of intellectual property and trademarks registration. Each of the Parties shall assist companies and enterprises of the other Party in all above-mentioned fields, as well as in other spheres of mutual interest.


Article 5


The Parties shall take other mutually agreed steps aimed at implementation of this Agreement.


Article 6


Representatives of the Parties may meet on a regular basis in the Russian Federation and Albania by turn for the purpose of considering current and prospective issues of bilateral cooperation, working out and implementing the measures aimed at enhancing the opportunities and improving the conditions for the fulfillment of this Agreement.


Article 7


The Agreement on Cooperation between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Albania from December 8, 1994 becomes invalid on the date of entry into force of the present Agreement.


Article 8


The present Agreement shall come into force on the day of its signature and shall remain valid until notice of its termination is given in writing by either Party in which case the Agreement shall be terminated six months after the date of the said notice.


Done in Moscow on the 11 of December, 2002 in duplicate in English.

CОГЛАШЕНИЕ

о сотрудничестве между

Торгово-промышленной палатой Российской Федерации

и

Союзом торгово-промышленных палат Албании


Торгово-промышленная палата Российской Федерации и Союз торгово-промышленных палат Албании в дальнейшем именуемые «Стороны»,

принимая во внимание взаимное стремление к установлению более тесных контактов между предпринимательскими кругами России и Албании;

стремясь использовать в практике сотрудничества между Россией и Албанией новые формы экономического взаимодействия;

руководствуясь интересами своих членов – российских и албанских предприятий, фирм, предпринимателей, а также их ассоциаций и объединений,

договорились о нижеследующем:


Статья 1


Стороны будут содействовать укреплению и расширению торгово-экономических, научно-технических и других деловых связей и контактов между российскими и албанскими предприятиями, фирмами, предпринимателями, а также ассоциациями и объединениями, в том числе за счет привлечения к двустороннему сотрудничеству малых и средних фирм и предприятий.


Статья 2


Стороны будут осуществлять обмен представляющей взаимный интерес информацией об экономике и внешней торговле, изменениях в законодательстве, правилах и обычаях в области торговли, а также оказывать друг другу содействие в организации симпозиумов, докладов и лекций специалистов.


Статья 3


Стороны будут создавать необходимые условия для активного участия предприятий и фирм обеих стран в международных, национальных и специализированных выставках, салонах, ярмарках и других рекламно-информационных мероприятиях, проводимых в Российской Федерации и Албании.

Статья 4


Стороны будут сотрудничать в области международного коммерческого и морского арбитража, патентования, защиты интеллектуальной собственности и регистрации торговых марок. Каждая из Сторон будет оказывать содействие компаниям и предприятиям другой Стороны во всех вышеперечисленных областях, а также в других областях, представляющих взаимный интерес.


Статья 5


Стороны будут осуществлять также другие согласованные мероприятия, направленные на реализацию настоящего Соглашения.


Статья 6


Представители Сторон будут регулярно встречаться поочередно в Российской Федерации и Албании для рассмотрения текущих и перспективных вопросов двустороннего сотрудничества, разработки и реализации мероприятий, направленных на расширение возможностей и улучшение условий для выполнения настоящего Соглашения.


Статья 7


С момента подписания настоящего Соглашения Соглашение о сотрудничестве между Торгово-промышленной палатой Российской Федерации и Торговой палатой Республики Албания от 8 декабря 1994 года утрачивает свою силу.


Статья 8


Настоящее Соглашение вступает в силу от даты его подписания и будет действовать до истечения 6 месяцев со дня, когда одна из Сторон в письменной форме заявит о своем намерении прекратить действие настоящего Соглашения.


Совершено в Москве 11 декабря 2002 года в двух подлинных экземплярах на английском языке.
