The increase of expressiveness can be achieved with the help of word combinations or sentences functioning like a syntactically independent word.
The research done testifies to the great role of epithets in the creation of imaginativeness, expressiveness, evaluativeness as the basis for exposing the writers attitude towards the given object. Thus epithets make a fair contribution to the revealing of the conceptual idea of the literary text.
